⁶ By the ^(A)word of the Lord the heavens were made,
And ^(B)by the breath of His mouth ^(C)all their ^[a]lights.
⁷ He gathers the ^(D)waters of the sea together ^[b]as a heap;
He puts the depths in storehouses.
⁸ Let ^(E)all the earth fear the Lord;
Let all the inhabitants of the world ^(F)stand in awe of Him.
⁹ For ^(G)He spoke, and it was done;
He commanded, and it ^[c]stood firm.

¹⁹ The Lord has established His ^(A)throne in the heavens,
And His ^[a](B)sovereignty rules over ^[b]all.

¹² Who has ^(A)measured the ^[a]waters in the hollow of His hand,
And measured the heavens with a ^[b]span,
And ^[c]calculated the dust of the earth with a measure,
And weighed the mountains in a balance
And the hills in a pair of scales?
^13 (B)Who has ^[d]directed the Spirit of the Lord,
Or as His ^(C)counselor has informed Him?
^14 (D)With whom did He consult and who ^(E)gave Him understanding?
And who taught Him in the path of justice and taught Him knowledge,
And informed Him of the way of understanding?
¹⁵ Behold, the ^(F)nations are like a drop from a bucket,
And are regarded as a speck of ^(G)dust on the scales;
Behold, He lifts up the ^[e]islands like fine dust.
¹⁶ Even Lebanon is not enough to ^[f]burn,
Nor its ^(H)animals enough for a burnt offering.
^17 (I)All the nations are as nothing before Him,
They are regarded by Him as less than nothing and ^[g]meaningless.

⁸ “^(A)Remember this, and be ^[a]assured;
^(B)Recall it to ^[b]mind, you ^(C)wrongdoers.
⁹ Remember the ^(D)former things long past,
For I am God, and there is ^(E)no other;
I am God, and there is ^(F)no one like Me,
¹⁰ Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things which have not been done,
Saying, ‘^(G)My plan will be established,
And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;

⁷ For God is the ^(A)King of all the earth;
Sing praises ^(B)with a psalm of wisdom.
⁸ God ^(C)reigns over the nations,
God ^[a]sits on ^(D)His holy throne.
